Another Burns night in the books! A great time was had by over 30 people who came to celebrate. I enjoyed piping along with the other two amigo's Paul and Terry. Paul did the honors of piping in the Haggis followed by a rousing rendition of "Ode to the Haggis" by master James Cleland.

We had cockaleekie soup (a barlee soup with plums)

We had a few poems and some pub songs by the traveling trubador Troy Miller. We enjoyed a meal of prime rib or salmon depending on ones taste. And we even had some good harmonica tunes. The evening closed with the singing of Auld Ang Syne. My grand daughter Madigan was in attendance and seemed to enjoy her first Burns event. Sarah has some pics on her blog page, check them out.

I always enjoy the evening and it is a good break in a cold January.
